POSITION: COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST

Parmi Lifewear, a growing brand based in Mont-Tremblant (Qc, Canada), is seeking a passionate Communications Specialist to take charge of our external communications.

The Communications Specialist will be the go-to reference for all our content—whether for organic social media, campaigns, newsletters, client communications, partner and ambassador communications, pitch documents, press releases, and various content for the website (main sales platform). He/she will develop strategies to support the brand objectives, social engagement, and business growth. In collaboration with the Parmi team, the specialist will manage the strategy and execution of our communications (both written and visual).

The responsibilities and tasks of this position may evolve according to internal needs and the expertise of the selected candidate; we are looking for someone who embraces change, is open to 360-degree shifts, easily adapts, and loves working in a team. The ideal candidate should possess a creative mindset, enjoy working with social media, and show a keen interest in brand development.

He/she will work closely with the leadership, strategy, and design teams.

JOB SUMMARY

  • Conditions: Contract for full-time role (flexibility possible)

SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Marketing, Retail, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related work environment.
  • In-depth interest and understanding of social media and newsletter strategies, as well as content creation.
  • Strong knowledge of the retail and outdoor sectors is essential.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken French and English is mandatory.
  • High attention to detail—recognized for thoroughness and meticulousness.
  • Familiarity with Shopify, Klaviyo, and Figma is relevant for this role.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, with an entrepreneurial spirit and capacity to transition from strategy to execution.
